Key Responsibilities- Prescription Filling and Management: Accurately fill prescriptions, complete related paperwork, and ensure proper billing information is documented for insurance reimbursement.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answer questions regarding proper use of medications, and develop professional relationships with local doctors.
- Immunization Administration: Administer immunizations in-store and at off-site clinics, participate in local health fairs to educate the public, and maintain accurate records.
- Inventory Management: Maintain quality control by ensuring dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded properly if unsold, and ensure filled prescriptions and bulk bottles of medications are organized properly.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow partners to promote a team environment, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and adhere to Company safety procedures.
- Education and Licensure: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required, must be licensed in practicing state, and certification for administering immunizations required.
- Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of pharmacy department operations, ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality, and ability to work well with fellow partners and promote a team environment.
Work is generally performed in a retail store with a quiet to moderate noise level. Brookshire Grocery Company strives to provide a safe, drug-free, and alcohol-free environment for its partners and guests.
