About the Job

We are hiring an Operations Assistant to join our team in Richmond. As an Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting department managers with daily production paperwork and data transmission needs.

You will maintain and support all office functions, including facility paper flow, complete and accurate documentation, and electronic data transmission. You will also interface with facility managers, regional managers, leads, associates, I.S., and Finance Departments, transportation representatives, and customers with day-to-day operations and special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rail Report for Port Rep and AWC management.
  • Pull reports for shipped, received, damaged, and old units on the ground, and orders per customer request.
  • Pulls reports from customer system, checked against VIPS.
  • Vessel notification (i.e., Customs, trucking, BN).
  • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Demonstrated skills with MS Office, including intermediate to advanced Excel and intermediate Access skills.
  • Knowledge of internal and customer computer applications.
  • Able to read and understand SDS.

Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience.
