Job DescriptionQuail Park of Lynnwood is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Activities Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Life Engagement team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating a variety of social events and activities to ensure the social, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of our residents are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the implementation of scheduled resident activities, including outings, on-site events, and social gatherings.
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in a variety of social events, outings, and on-site activities to ensure resident engagement and satisfaction.
  • Act as a role model to community team members for communication and behavior management strategies, and engage residents in meaningful activity and social interaction.
  • Ensure all resident activities, outings, and events occur according to schedule, and assist in recruiting, training, and scheduling volunteers to support the community activity program.
  • Support the team in ensuring all resident care and activity is provided in a safe and effective manner, while consistently maintaining resident dignity, choice, and respect.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year experience working in a senior living environment and/or social activity leadership.
  • CNA/HCA preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License within specified timeframe.
  • Must be able to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with residents, guests, and other team members.
  • Must meet all health-related requirements pertaining to state licensure.
  • Must maintain current CPR/First Aid and Food Handler's credentials.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including MS Word and Excel.
