Under the general direction of the Public Works Crew Leader, this position performs a variety of routine manual work in traffic operations, maintenance, repair, and construction of streets, signs, sewers, storm drains, and related structures. The incumbent renovates City buildings and facilities, uses and operates manual and power tools, and light to heavy power-driven equipment. Additionally, this position provides complex technical support to the Public Works Crew Leader.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine manual work in traffic operations, maintenance, repair, and construction of streets, signs, sewers, storm drains, and related structures.
- Renovate City buildings and facilities, including fixtures and equipment.
- Operate manual and power tools, and light to heavy power-driven equipment.
- Provide complex technical support to the Public Works Crew Leader.
This is a non-exempt position.
