Position Overview

As a CNC Machining Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process at Masaba Inc. Your primary responsibility will be to program and optimize operations for plasma tables, tube lasers, flat lasers, and press brakes utilizing advanced CAD and CAM software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement precise programming and nesting for various machining equipment to align with production requirements.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing methodologies.
  • Maintain a meticulous approach to documentation, ensuring all programming activities are recorded, including program files, setup sheets, and tooling specifications.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to enhance production efficiency.
  • Identify and troubleshoot programming challenges during the manufacturing process.
  • Continuously seek and implement process enhancements to improve operational workflows.
  • Meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing production schedules.
  • Utilize computer applications proficiently, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess experience with CAD and/or CAM software, such as Inventor, AutoCAD, Boost, or OmniWIN.
  • Have a foundational understanding of ERP systems like Global Shop.
  • Interpret and analyze mechanical drawings accurately.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sheet metal and/or structural steel fabrication.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
