Job Summary

As a Plasma Table Operator at Masaba Inc, you will be responsible for operating CNC Plasma Table machines, overhead cranes, forklifts, and tool grinders. You will also be responsible for setting up, operating, and performing routine maintenance on Plasma equipment. This role requires mechanical aptitude and the ability to read tape measures, as well as interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate measurements on the machine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC Plasma Table machines, overhead cranes, forklifts, and tool grinders
  • Set up and operate Plasma equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance on Plasma equipment
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Use mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience with machine operation in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to perform basic math functions and use standard measuring devices
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent attendance history
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work standing on hard surfaces for hour shifts in hot or cold environments
  • Good hand and eye coordination
  • Good visual acuity
  • Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crouch, or stoop to perform various functions of the position
  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to work independently
