Navarro & Wright Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Survey Party Chief to lead our land survey team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of a survey crew to support a broad range of land surveying and related services for federal, state, and private clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of a survey crew to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
  • Supervise and train survey crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement standard procedures for field operations.
  • Collaborate with office staff to interpret field survey data and prepare accurate reports.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency (GED).
  • Minimum of 5 years of land survey related experience, including topographic, control, boundary, ALTA, and construction/heavy civil layout surveys.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Robotic total station and GPS/GNSS experience required.
  • Basic proficiency in written and verbal business communications skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting contracts.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure and professionalism in all situations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PLS or SIT License.
  • Occasional overnight stays and travel to and from assigned field sites.
