Job Summary:

As a Branch Sales Associate at Grainger, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our branch locations. You will be responsible for managing the entire customer experience, from product selection to order entry and loading customer vehicles. Your ability to adapt to different communication styles and navigate various computer systems will be essential in this role. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to Grainger's process standards and wearing personal protective equipment as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, order entry, and loading customer vehicles
• Adapt communication style to differing audiences in email, over phone, or in person
• Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders/shipping product
• Prepare customer backorders and put away other stock received
• Help with merchandising and perform showroom replenishment
• Perform inventory counts
• Learn and easily navigate through different computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities
• Perform housekeeping tasks to ensure branch appearance meets Grainger standards

Requirements:

• Flexibility to work any time within branch hours of operation
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance
• Willingness to learn and operate powered industrial equipment
