">Premier Physician Services, LLC is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Physiatrist/Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician to join our team in North Carolina.
">Estimated Salary: $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience
">Job Description:
">We are looking for a medical director to lead our inpatient rehabilitation unit. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and treating patients with various conditions, including CVA, Orthopedic injuries/surgeries, amputations, neurological disorders, neuromuscular disorders, major trauma, brain injury, and de-conditioned patients.
">The team consists of rehabilitation physicians, rehabilitation nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and case management. Other team members may include nutritional services, pharmacy, wound care, and respiratory.
">Responsibilities:
">The successful candidate will be responsible for:
">- Managing and treating 8 bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
">- Providing a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation care
">- Treating patients as a result of CVA, Orthopedic injuries/surgeries, amputations, neurological disorders, neuromuscular disorders, major trauma, brain injury, and de-conditioned patients
">Requirements:
">To be considered for this position, the candidate must have:
">- Inpatient rehab experience preferred
">- Excellent leadership and communication skills
">- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
