At Physician Empire, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our team of experienced electrophysiologists in the Greater Charlotte Market.

About the Role

We are a large multispecialty Institute providing integrated inpatient and outpatient service line management of adult medical and surgical cardiovascular patients. With over 35 years of experience in delivering high-quality patient-centered care, we have established ourselves as a referral EP center.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in electrophysiology, with expertise in procedural electrophysiology including advanced device placement/management. Additionally, they should have experience in leadership and program development, with a proven track record of success in driving growth and expansion.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of four experienced electrophysiologists to provide high-level clinical consultative cardiology and consultative electrophysiology services
  • Develop and implement strategies for program growth and expansion, focusing on non-invasive and interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging (CT and MRI), and electrophysiology
  • Collaborate with vascular surgery, endovascular procedures, and cardiac surgery teams to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care
  • Mentor junior physicians and contribute to the development of the department's clinical and research programs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BC in electrophysiology with proficiency in all aspects of procedural electrophysiology, including advanced device placement/management
  • Experience in leadership and program development, with a proven track record of success in driving growth and expansion
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
