Accounting Leadership Manager

TYM North America Inc is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a strategic professional to lead and optimize our accounting processes.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial well-being of our company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial transparency. Key responsibilities include leading day-to-day accounting operations, providing excellent service to customers and dealership partners, and playing a critical role in financial reporting, budgeting, and guiding the accounting team to achieve departmental objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: The Accounting Manager will oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: The Accounting Manager will collaborate with leadership to develop and manage the annual budgeting process, providing financial forecasts and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Team Leadership: The Accounting Manager will lead & mentor accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, providing guidance on complex accounting issues and ensuring professional development.
- General Ledger Management: The Accounting Manager will maintain the integrity of the general ledger & ensure all accounts are reconciled accurately, implementing & maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Financial Analysis: The Accounting Manager will conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing insights and recommendations to support business initiatives.
- Audit and Compliance: The Accounting Manager will coordinate and manage the annual audit process with external auditors, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and coordinating tax filings.
- Cash Flow Management: The Accounting Manager will monitor and manage cash flow, working closely with treasury functions, optimizing working capital and liquidity to support business operations.
- Process Improvement: The Accounting Manager will identify opportunities for process improvements & efficiencies, implementing best practices to enhance the accuracy and speed of financial reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- An active CPA designation is required.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role preferably in a manufacturing environment for a minimum of 5 years.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems; SAP Business 1 is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
- Experienced communicator, both written and verbal. Able to communicate complex concepts and risk factors to influence decision making.
- Experienced business partner, skilled in building trust and inspiring others while ramping in a new business and role.
- Bilingual in English & Korean is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to provide strategic financial insights.
Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per annum.
