Chief Radiation Therapist Oncology Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Radiation Therapist Oncology to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology department, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to radiation therapists and other department staff
  • Develop and implement radiation therapy treatment plans and protocols
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation oncology and implement best practices in the department
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree required, Bachelors preferred
  • Registered Radiation Therapist (ARRT) required
  • Minimum 4 years as a Radiation Therapist
  • 1 Year Management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of coding and billing
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
