Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quick Lube Technician to join our team at McLarty Daniel Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Bentonville. As a Quick Lube Technician, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing a variety of tasks to maintain and repair vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Check and Communicate Oil Level: Ensure that the oil level is at the recommended level and communicate any issues to the team.
  • Ensure Tire Pressure: Verify that tire pressure is at the recommended level to ensure proper inflation.
  • Inspect and Refill Fluid Levels: Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary to maintain optimal vehicle performance.
  • Complete Vehicle Inspection: Conduct a thorough vehicle inspection to identify any potential issues.
  • Install New Oil Drain Plug and Oil Filter: Replace the oil drain plug and oil filter to ensure optimal engine performance.
  • Clean and Lubricate Fittings: Clean and lubricate fittings as needed to ensure smooth operation.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by keeping the customer's perspective in mind.
Qualifications
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience at an automotive dealership is preferred.
  • Strong Understanding: A strong understanding of the service drive and its operations is essential.
  • Years of Experience: Years of experience vary per position, but a minimum of 1-2 years of experience is required.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Dexterity: Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination, is necessary for this role.
  • Mechanical and Troubleshooting Skills: Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills are required to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills are essential to provide exceptional customer experiences.
  • Basic Computer Competencies: Basic computer competencies are required to navigate our system and access important information.
  • Positive Attitude: A positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality, is necessary to succeed in this role.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a team, is essential.
