Position Overview:
We are in search of a meticulous and quality-driven professional to join our workforce as a Quality Assurance Specialist.
The ideal candidate will be tasked with evaluating products, materials, and processes to guarantee compliance with defined quality benchmarks and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform comprehensive evaluations of incoming materials, ongoing production, and completed products to confirm alignment with quality benchmarks and specifications.
2. Employ various assessment tools and equipment to gauge product quality, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
3. Detect and document quality flaws, inconsistencies, and non-compliance issues.
4. Initiate corrective measures for quality concerns in partnership with production and engineering teams.
5. Maintain precise and thorough inspection documentation and reports.
6. Conduct root cause investigations for quality challenges and apply preventive strategies.
7. Collaborate with other departments to enhance quality processes and methodologies.
8. Stay informed about industry quality standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in quality assurance or a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Proficient in utilizing inspection tools and equipment.
- Understanding of quality control principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
