SUMMARY:
The primary function of this role is to operate on the production line. Candidates should possess a strong commitment to safety, an eye for quality, and attention to detail. The ideal individual will be adept at following instructions, making keen observations during the manufacturing process, and should either have experience in a repetitive production environment or a willingness to acquire these skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position operates during the 3rd Shift, with hours from Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:15 AM.
- Exhibit the ability to comprehend and fulfill performance standards as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) relevant to your designated area within the Assembly Department, specifically on the Istech Auto-Loader and/or BOL equipment.
- Tasks include:
- Istech operations: Payoff, middle, table, load, end-cap.
- BOL operations: Pick and place, load, critical seal, printing.
- Execute duties in accordance with Operational SOPs.
- Achieve all production and quality objectives.
- Effectively manage material movement in and out of the glove box to minimize exposure to air and moisture.
- Learn and implement necessary housekeeping practices to maintain a clean 5S work environment.
- Understand and consistently wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the work area.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Strong emphasis on quality assurance.
- Effective communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on repetitive tasks.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments such as scales, micrometers, and calipers.

- Capability to lift up to 40 pounds.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and understand simple instructions and memos. Capability to write basic correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in various units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense to follow written or oral instructions and to address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
