Key Responsibilities:
1. Focus on the specialized functions within Federally Qualified Health Centers, balancing finance and grant writing duties.
2. Prepare precise financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to aid in strategic decision-making.
3. Oversee and manage grant funding, ensuring adherence to regulations and reporting obligations.
4. Collaborate with various departments to formulate budgets and financial strategies for grants.
5. Conduct thorough financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
6. Assist in the preparation of annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
7. Research and identify potential grant opportunities, contributing to the grant application process.
8. Maintain comprehensive financial records and documentation for grants and other funding sources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Preferred background in healthcare.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and grant management.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with FQHC or grant writing is advantageous.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of healthcare finance within FQHC is a plus.
- CPA or CMA certification is a benefit.
