Job Summary:

The MS Therapist Reg Intern will work under the clinical supervision of a licensed therapist to assess, plan, develop, coordinate, and provide treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to individuals struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate treatment, rehabilitation, and support services for individuals and their families
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation of services
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans
  • Provide education and support to individuals and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Behavioral Health Sciences, such as mental health counseling, social work, or psychology
  • Licensed or registered intern seeking licensure with the State of Florida
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders
  • Valid Florida driver's license and a safe driving record
