Dialysis Charge Nurse

La enfermera de carga es responsable de supervisar los servicios de enfermería cada turno y actúa como supervisor de enfermería. Esta posición proporciona supervisión diaria del personal en servicio durante las horas de funcionamiento.
Responsabilidades y Funciones Esenciales- Colaborar con los procesos clínicos y operativos para mejorar la salud del paciente y minimizar las hospitalizaciones y los tratamientos perdidos.
- Mostrar un uso efectivo de suministros y horas de trabajo del personal.
- Realizar y documentar la revisión mensual del perfil de medicamentos del paciente. Administrar medicamentos según lo ordenado por el médico.
- Asistir al médico durante las rondas de pacientes y transcribir y implementar órdenes del médico a tiempo.
- Colaborar con la implementación de protocolos de gestión de anemia y medicamentos según lo solicitado.
- Conocer y cumplir con leyes y regulaciones federales, estatales y locales, incluidos los requisitos de la ley de práctica de los profesionales de la salud.
- Realizar tareas en todo momento dentro de los límites establecidos por y en conformidad con la política y procedimientos de la empresa, leyes y regulaciones estatales y federales aplicables.
- Podría dar atención directa al paciente al grado de realizar dialisis eficiente y segura, si está permitido por las regulaciones estatales.
- Responder a todas las emergencias en la clínica.
- Comunicar los resultados de la evaluación del paciente, la reevaluación y el monitoreo continuo al médico, a los miembros del equipo y a otros según sea necesario para las necesidades individuales del paciente.
- Mantener una relación de trabajo colaborativa con el Director Médico y los médicos.
- Participar como miembro del equipo interdisciplinario en todas las actividades de evaluación y planificación de atención del paciente requeridas.
- Asistir en la orientación de nuevos empleados como preceptor o asignando un preceptor.
- Actuar como persona de recurso y participar en la implementación y evaluación de los servicios de diálisis y asegurarse de que las políticas y procedimientos estén actualizados.
- Asistir al Administrador en la entrevista, contratación, evaluación y acciones disciplinarias del personal de la clínica.
