Position Overview:

This role involves working in a supportive environment where you will guide and influence group activities, enhancing the confidence and self-esteem of each participant. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and progress of clients through engaging therapeutic programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a positive role model, leading youth through various activities while providing both group and individual counseling.
  • Utilize strength-based development techniques to assist youth in defining and achieving their life goals.
  • Oversee the well-being of clients during afternoon, evening, and overnight hours, ensuring a secure and therapeutic environment.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience working with youth. A bachelor's degree in social or behavioral services is preferred.
  • Experience in a therapeutic or rehabilitative setting is advantageous.
  • Ability to navigate various terrains and participate in outdoor activities is essential.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and meet insurance requirements.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening is mandatory.
