Position Overview:
This role involves working in a supportive environment where you will guide and influence group activities, enhancing the confidence and self-esteem of each participant. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and progress of clients through engaging therapeutic programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a positive role model, leading youth through various activities while providing both group and individual counseling.
- Utilize strength-based development techniques to assist youth in defining and achieving their life goals.
- Oversee the well-being of clients during afternoon, evening, and overnight hours, ensuring a secure and therapeutic environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience working with youth. A bachelor's degree in social or behavioral services is preferred.
- Experience in a therapeutic or rehabilitative setting is advantageous.
- Ability to navigate various terrains and participate in outdoor activities is essential.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and meet insurance requirements.
- Successful completion of a drug screening is mandatory.
