We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Special Care Unit team at The Medical Center of Aurora. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license in the state of Colorado
- One year of experience in acute care, preferably in a medical-surgical setting
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
