Penn Medicine is seeking a skilled Vascular Technician to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for performing vascular laboratory testing, including arterial, venous, cerebrovascular, and visceral testing, according to established procedures and protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Perform vascular laboratory testing, including arterial, venous, cerebrovascular, and visceral testing, according to established procedures and protocols.
- Assess patients and obtain pertinent vascular history.
- Utilize resources to obtain pertinent clinical information, including Penn Chart and ProSolv.
- Prepare accurate and complete preliminary reports.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers in relaying test results and determining specific testing required.
- Certification by ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS) at the time of hire and maintenance of certification on an annual basis.
- Maintenance of CPR certification.
- High School Diploma/GED and graduate of an accredited ultrasound technology program, or 1+ years of clinical experience in performing vascular lab testing.
