We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Methodist Hospital Westover Hills. As a key member of our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assist cardiologists and electrophysiologists with cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection and equipment setup.
- Identify cardiac structures, coronary vasculature, and associated disease processes, utilizing anatomical and physiological knowledge to inform patient care.
- Practice radiation safety and adhere to ALARA principles to minimize patient exposure.
- Accurately report ejection fraction and other hemodynamic pressure measurements, utilizing left ventricular analysis programs.
- Ensure proper archiving of angiographic and procedural data for long-term storage.
- High school graduate or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
- One year of full-time invasive cardiovascular technology experience or equivalent required; certification eligible candidates must pass RCIS/RCES exam within 18 months.
- ARRT certification or RCIS/RCES certification required.
