Psychiatric Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Psychiatric Charge Nurse (RN) to join our team in Somerville, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our psychiatric unit. As a Psychiatric Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, planning and implementing nursing interventions, and evaluating the effectiveness of care.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide and implement nursing care interventions, including medication administration and wound care
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care interventions and make adjustments as needed
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- One year of medical/psychiatric experience preferred
- Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic medical records
