Operating Room Supervisor RN

The Operating Room Supervisor RN role at Atrium Health Charlotte is a critical position that requires a skilled and experienced nurse to oversee the daily operations of the OR department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care, that all surgical procedures are conducted safely and efficiently, and that the OR department runs smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the OR department, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care and that all surgical procedures are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing, anesthesia, and surgical services, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Provide leadership and guidance to OR staff, including nurses, technicians, and other support personnel.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the OR setting, with a strong background in nursing.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
