Job Title: Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team at Lumicity. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and debugging controls for machines, test equipment, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems and controls for industrial power systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate controls into manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement testing protocols to ensure control system reliability.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff on control system operation and maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in control systems.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in a Controls Engineer or similar position.
  • Strong electrical systems background, with the ability to design, build, and debug controls.
  • Previous experience working with industrial power systems and controls.
  • Both hardware and software understanding.
  • Programming experience, e.g. Python, C, C++.
  • Enthusiasm with a willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience with PLC or CNC would be advantageous.
  • CAD development experience would be advantageous.
  • B.S in Electrical Engineering or related field.
