Key Responsibilities- Design and modify precision assembly and/or manufacturing equipment to improve efficiency and quality.
- Manage numerous projects with minimal supervision, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Prepare estimates for various tasks and projects, utilizing your expertise in manufacturing and engineering.
- Lead capital projects, collaborating with plant and corporate groups, contractors, and vendors to achieve successful outcomes.
- Drive Continuous Improvement Activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance processes and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with FDA Design Control standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to all plant departments, utilizing your expertise in equipment life cycle management and product life cycle management.
- Generate technical documents, reports, equipment specifications, and interpret technical drawings/schematics.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Computer degrees preferred).
- 0-2 years of engineering/manufacturing experience, with a focus on FDA manufacturing.
- Programming/troubleshooting experience with automation controls, automated assembly, control systems, PLC's, HMI's, servo's, and vision inspection systems.
- Design software experience (like AutoCAD, Solidworks, etc.) and Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certification or industry standard equivalent are preferred.
- Project Management skills and experience, including Microsoft Project software, are a plus.
