The Role

">

We are seeking an exceptional Community Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential properties, ensuring seamless delivery of services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Lead the onsite team in providing excellent customer service, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive relationships with residents;
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve property performance, occupancy rates, and financial outcomes;
  • Collaborate with the supervisory team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards;
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and files, ensuring timely submission of required documents;
  • Foster partnerships with local agencies, community groups, and stakeholders to enhance the overall quality of life for residents;
  • Manage budgets, resources, and personnel effectively, making informed decisions to optimize property performance;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, applying knowledge to drive continuous improvement;
  • Provide training and guidance to staff members, promoting professional growth and development;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, real estate, urban planning) or equivalent experience;
  • At least two years of experience in property management, preferably in the affordable housing sector;
  • Proven track record of success in property operations, maintenance, and customer service;
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including residents, staff, and external partners;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, property management software, and data analysis tools;
  • Familiarity with HUD regulations, Fair Housing laws, and industry standards;
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in varying weather conditions;
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation;
  • COVID-19 vaccination required.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
