">The Role
">We are seeking an exceptional Community Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential properties, ensuring seamless delivery of services to our residents.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Lead the onsite team in providing excellent customer service, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive relationships with residents;
- Develop and implement strategies to improve property performance, occupancy rates, and financial outcomes;
- Collaborate with the supervisory team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards;
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and files, ensuring timely submission of required documents;
- Foster partnerships with local agencies, community groups, and stakeholders to enhance the overall quality of life for residents;
- Manage budgets, resources, and personnel effectively, making informed decisions to optimize property performance;
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, applying knowledge to drive continuous improvement;
- Provide training and guidance to staff members, promoting professional growth and development;
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
Requirements and Qualifications:
">- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, real estate, urban planning) or equivalent experience;
- At least two years of experience in property management, preferably in the affordable housing sector;
- Proven track record of success in property operations, maintenance, and customer service;
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including residents, staff, and external partners;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, property management software, and data analysis tools;
- Familiarity with HUD regulations, Fair Housing laws, and industry standards;
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in varying weather conditions;
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation;
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
Salary and Benefits
">We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
