Job Summary:

As a Bartender at Benihana National Corp, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while preparing and serving beverages in a friendly and efficient manner. This role requires a strong ability to multitask, handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system, as well as maintain a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve cocktails and other drinks to guests and servers
  • Offer and serve food items to guests, collect payment, and maintain a clean and sanitary bar area
  • Provide positive guest interactions and respond to guest complaints in a professional manner
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism and courtesy during stressful and busy times
  • Meet sales and customer service goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in bartending, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry required
  • Strong ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
  • Basic understanding of beer, wine, spirits, and sake required
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and courtesy
  • Must be certified in Responsible Alcohol Service by applicable agency
  • Ability to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time
  • Must be 21 years of age or older, or in accordance with state law
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be able to work different shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends
