Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Central Kentucky Community Action Council, Inc. This is a full-time position responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen while preparing, cooking, and serving meals as directed by the approved menu.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare daily meals in accordance with the approved menu, ensuring food is stored and handled in a safe and hygienic manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety guidelines and regulations.
- Ensure accurate stock levels, rotate stock, and label all stock as required.
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure a positive working relationship and excellent customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in cooking and food preparation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Background check and drug screen required.
