  • Clinical Lead and Management:
    • Orient and train dental assistants to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
    • Disseminate information on policies and procedures to ensure all staff members are aware of their roles and responsibilities
    • Supervise and evaluate staff performance to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback
    • Work with staff to maximize program performance and productivity, including monitoring and analyzing data to inform decision-making
    • Monitor and order dental supplies and laboratory needs to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
    • Understand and instruct on exposure protocol to ensure staff members are aware of the risks and take necessary precautions
    • Assist with front desk duties as needed to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for patients
  • Supervisory Responsibilities:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations and tasks of supervisees to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
    • Complete performance development and AIM process to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback
    • Manage time sheets and ensure progress toward departmental goals to ensure a successful and productive team
    Working Conditions and Exposure Risk:
    • Regular exposure to blood and/or body fluids, requiring proper personal protective equipment and adherence to infection control protocols
    • Regular exposure to radiation sources, requiring proper use of lead aprons and adherence to radiation safety protocols
    • Regular exposure to biohazard and/or chemical waste materials, requiring proper handling and disposal procedures
