About the Role:
Aerotek is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team. As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling presses ranging in size from 5 feet in length to 25 feet in length with materials ranging from PVC pipe to stainless steel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble joints, hydraulic hose systems, and attach electro-mechanical components using power and hand tools in line with blueprint specifications.
- Drill and tap holes according to length/depth required.
- Experience completing mechanical assembly/mechanic type of work with hydraulic systems, bearings, or gearboxes in line with blueprints.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Work Environment:
This is a fully on-site position in a press shop, a non-climate controlled covered facility where the presses are assembled and shipped separately from their dry bag facility.
Job Type:
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months.
