About This Role
We are seeking a Licensed Outpatient Therapist to join our team in Twin Cities, MN. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care Team, you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.
Job Description
This role offers flexibility in the number of billable hours/hours worked per week. You'll have the opportunity to work onsite or in a hybrid model, with at least 2 days on site required for remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform intakes, diagnostic evaluations, and prepare treatment planning while engaging in client therapy practices.
- Form effective therapeutic alliances and support clients' unique needs and goals.
- Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and modeling as it relates to individual goals, treatment plans, and diagnosis.
- Engage in crisis interventions, stabilization, and de-escalation for clients experiencing mental health symptoms.
- Timely and accurately document all client interactions as dictated by law, ethical standards, and CARE Counseling policy.
- Provide one-to-one supportive counseling and observe client behavior, physical, and emotional symptoms.
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral Degree in Behavioral Science/related field (Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Education, etc.).
- Active, independent clinical license as a Mental Health Professional in the State of Minnesota (LP, LPCC, LICSW, LMFT).
- Basic understanding of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
