We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishwasher. As a key member of our dining services department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the Dishwashing Machine: Ensure the efficient and effective operation of our dishwashing machine, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Maintain Stock Areas: Organize and maintain stock areas in a neat and orderly fashion, ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available.
- Transport Carts and Equipment: Safely transport carts and equipment to and from the appropriate dining areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Monitor and Record Water Temperatures and Cleaning Compound Usage: Regularly monitor and record water temperatures and cleaning compound usage to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Perform Cleaning Assignments: Perform cleaning assignments as directed, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning food-service carts, and washing dishes.
- Use Proper Sanitation: Maintain proper sanitation in all food and service areas, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
- Maintain Cleanliness in Work Areas: Ensure that all kitchen work areas and dining rooms are kept clean and free of dirty dishes.
- Deliver Food Requests: Deliver food requests to stations as needed, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in Emergency Situations: Assist in the transportation of residents in case of fire, disaster, or emergency evacuation, following established procedures.
- Previous Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is required.
- Effective Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with residents, family members, and staff.
