**Job Summary**

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at American House Senior Living in Keene. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of customer service for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • Work closely with the Culinary Director and kitchen staff to maintain a safe and positive dining experience for residents
  • Load and unload materials, clean equipment, and assist in all areas where assigned
  • Maintain proper water temperatures, chemicals, and daily records for the dishwasher
  • Manage three-compartment sinks, keeping organization and proper sanitation as a primary focus
  • Assist with special events set-up and tear-down in coordination with the building Executive Director and Lifestyle Director

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills and a compassion for older adults
  • Previous training and experience in dietary/food service procedures and techniques (preferred)
  • Minimum 16 years of age
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and TB test

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Ability to regularly stand, talk, bend, stretch, pull, or push and lift items
  • Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Ability to frequently communicate with residents, families, co-workers, etc.
