Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Financial Services Representative to join our team at Marymount Manhattan College. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and faculty, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student accounts and financial aid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide cross-functional services in student accounts and financial aid, including advising, investigating, and resolving questions and issues.
  • Guide and assist students with general financial counseling, including explaining financial aid eligibility and disbursement of aid.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of college policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Adhere to a strong customer service orientation and work proactively with other support offices to best serve students.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a financial services office, preferably in a college or university setting.
  • Strong customer-service orientation, experience, and skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to improving service delivery and student satisfaction.
  • Ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
