At Northwestern Medicine, we are committed to delivering world-class care to our patients and their families. As a Medical Support Professional on our Telemetry Unit, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission to improve health and well-being.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with our RNs to provide high-quality patient care, focusing on basic nursing activities, such as vital sign monitoring, blood glucose measurement, and documentation of intake/output. You will also support patients with personal care needs, reporting any abnormalities or changes in condition to nursing staff and maintaining patient rooms in a clean and organized manner.

Requirements

We require applicants to have completed at least one clinical rotation as a nursing student or possess a Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or equivalent certification. Additionally, you must hold CPR-Basic Life Support certification and meet the physical demands requirements of the role, including lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling forces up to 50 pounds.
