Job Summary

The Patient Care Advocate is responsible for coordinating volunteer services to meet the needs of patients and families. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate volunteer services to support patient care needs.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement plans to engage volunteers in patient care activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours and activities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience in social services, human services, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Nursing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in a hospice setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $28.50 - $34.25 per hour, depending on location and experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
