Job Summary:

J&H Transport is seeking a reliable and skilled Fuel Transport Driver to join our team. As a Fuel Transport Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating equipment, loading and transporting fuel shipments, and maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate equipment in compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Load, transport, and unload fuel shipments in an efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and equipment managers.
  • Maintain a clean equipment interior and exterior and report maintenance needs promptly.
  • Be mechanically competent and have a firm understanding of the equipment.
  • Properly complete all load-related documentation in an accurate fashion.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • One (1) year of Class A driving experience preferred
  • Commercial Drivers License, Class A
  • HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Must pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
  • Must be able to sit/drive for long or short periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs repetitively
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Reliable time management
  • Effective communication skills
  • A strong work ethic with a commitment to succeed
