Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Fuel Transport Driver to join our team at Parkland Fuel. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting bulk oil and fuel to our customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport and deliver loaded and empty tanker, bulk, semi, and van trucks in a professional, safe, efficient, timely, and legal manner.
  • Hook and unhook trailers, operate pumps and valves to fill tanks using various hoses, nozzles, and fittings.
  • Ensure all products, hoses, and other tools are secured using approved securing methods.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our customers and ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliveries.
  • Represent the Company to our customers, the public, and the trucking industry in a professional manner.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Tanker, Hazmat endorsements preferred (not required at time of application, but required at time of hire)
  • Current DOT Medical Card required at time of hire
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Ability to drive/work in all traffic and weather conditions
  • Able and willing to work up to 14-hour days, 70-hour weeks

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include regularly required to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, bend, climb stairs and ladder, and lift, pull, push, and carry tasks. The role may also involve exposure to extreme temperatures and weather conditions, vapors/fumes/chemicals, and noise for extended periods of time.
