Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration and HVAC Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Properly troubleshoot and diagnose commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment issues
  • Provide exceptional service to customers and communicate effectively with management and customers
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Document and maintain accurate records of services performed
  • Consult with management to obtain necessary parts and materials
  • Communicate with manufacturers to diagnose equipment issues
  • Install parts and materials in a timely and professional manner
  • Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures
  • Maintain productivity levels in accordance with company standards

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Three years of experience as a refrigeration/HVAC equipment technician
  • EPA certification
  • CEFESA certification is a plus
  • Additional experience in gas, electric, and/or steam repairs is a plus
  • Valid driver's license
  • Industry-standard hand tools
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Motivated and self-starting with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on rotational on-call as needed
