Job Summary

Metro Refrigeration is a leading provider of refrigeration and HVAC equipment repair, maintenance, and installation services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration and/or HVAC equipment
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with customers and management
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Document and maintain accurate records of services performed
  • Consult with management to obtain necessary parts and communicate with manufacturers as needed
  • Install parts in a timely and professional manner
  • Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures
  • Maintain productivity levels in accordance with company standards
Requirements
  • High School graduate/GED or equivalent
  • Three years of experience as a refrigeration/HVAC equipment technician
  • EPA certification
  • CEFESA certification a plus
  • Additional experience in gas, electric, and/or steam repairs a plus
  • Valid driver's license
  • Industry-standard hand tools
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Motivated and self-starting individual with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on rotational on-call as needed
