Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Program Manager, you will oversee the comprehensive financial management and asset tracking for the program.
- Serve as the primary liaison among program management, subcontractors, and procurement teams.
- Support procurement activities related to assets and subcontractors.
- Manage the Unanet procurement workflow and ensure accurate data input.
- Conduct research and data analysis to support the program's objectives, including budget tracking, financial forecasting, compliance monitoring, and ad hoc analyses for program management.
- Establish and communicate project budgets effectively.
- Identify and address risks, financial discrepancies, or variances proactively.
- Oversee project closure processes and implement necessary updates.
- Generate financial reports and forecasts, aligning them with known trends.
- Prepare, maintain, and present Monthly Status Reports (MSR), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), and annual closeout reports.
- Analyze various reports concerning fund status, including commitments, obligations, liquidations, travel expenses, staff salaries, and other workload indicators.
- Consolidate data to provide a comprehensive overview of the financial status of programs in multiple formats.
- Advise program management on the availability of funds across different accounts.
- Assess the implications of existing and proposed projects based on available resources and draft recommendations for alternative actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a government contracting environment, focusing on program budgets and financial management.
- PMP certification is mandatory.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proficient in data assessment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with personnel at all organizational levels.
- Must possess TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph.
