A rewarding part-time physician position is available at MedMark Treatment Centers, dedicated to providing individualized treatment for adults struggling with opioid use disorder. As a licensed and board-certified or eligible physician, you will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve long-term recovery and an improved quality of life.

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced physician to join our team in Merrillville, IN. This part-time opportunity offers a unique chance to make a difference in the lives of those affected by addiction. You will work closely with our medical director, counselors, and dosing nurses to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing methadone and buprenorphine treatment.

**Primary Responsibilities:**
  • Admitting patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment.
  • Covering absences for the Medical Director during vacations, attendance at addiction meetings, and personal absences.
  • Conducting history and physical exams.
  • Documentation into the EMR, entering orders for methadone dosing or writing buprenorphine prescriptions.
  • Monitoring patient dosages in conjunction with the Treatment Center Director, Counselors, and Dosing Nurses.
  • Consulting on high-risk patients and performing annual medication reviews.
  • Other related duties as determined by supervisor.

**Requirements:**
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in any residency.
  • Licensed and DEA certified in the state of Indiana.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Addiction Medicine and Primary Care.
  • Medicaid/Medicare provider.
  • Able to interact compassionately with a diverse population.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
