Job Title: Structural Engineer Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer Intern to join our team at Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE). As a Structural Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various transportation projects with a strong emphasis on bridge design.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the lead engineer in maintaining organized documentation and archives of design files, drawings, and construction submittals.
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop effective designs, details, drawings, and specifications for transportation structures such as bridges, culverts, and retaining walls.
  • Provide internal quality control for construction drawings, design calculations, and specifications, ensuring technical accuracy and conformance to project requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated research skills and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team setting.
  • Strong computer literacy and keyboard skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and mathematical aptitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Must be actively pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Academic Juniors and Seniors preferred.
