Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations to inform treatment plans.
- Coordinate and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication with other healthcare professionals.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies, making recommendations for patient care as needed.
- Develop and evaluate treatment plans, collaborating with patients and families to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including treatment plans and outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse and APRN-NP, with specialty certification as required by department.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Masters in Nursing as NP or Masters degree in Nursing with completion of a post-masters Nurse Practitioner Certification Program.
