Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents/young adults residing in our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all job responsibilities in alignment with our mission and core values, as well as complying with all policies and procedures, OSHA, HIPAA, local, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications as prescribed by program regulations and client health screening.
- Evaluate medical complaints/concerns from residents during on-site hours and relay information to appropriate NP/MD.
- Complete treatment plans when indicated, provide direct care and nursing services to clients, and monitor chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures.
- Maintain accurate and timely records, including but not limited to Medication Administration Record, medical records, medical charts, infection control log, etc.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings as needed and comply with all mandated reporting requirements, biohazard program requirements, medical protocols, infection control, etc.
- Possess a current and unrestricted Registered Nurse License in the state applying for work.
- Experience in residential nursing is a plus.
