Job Title: Medical Case Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Case Manager to join our team at Travelers Insurance Company. As a Medical Case Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible care and support during their recovery from injury or illness.

Job Summary:

The Medical Case Manager will be responsible for coordinating medical care and treatment for our customers, working closely with healthcare providers, and developing strategies to facilitate their return to work. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and analytical skills, as well as a deep understanding of the healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate medical care and treatment for customers, including scheduling appointments and communicating with healthcare providers.
  • Develop and implement return-to-work plans, working closely with customers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct medical reviews and assessments to determine the extent of injuries or illnesses and develop strategies for recovery.
  • Communicate with customers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed and engaged in the recovery process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including claims and underwriting, to ensure that all aspects of the customer's claim are being addressed.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
  • Experience in case management, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Basic knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA and state-specific requirements.
