The University of Miami seeks a highly skilled Registered Nurse 2 to join our team in the Hematology/Oncology department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients' conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and make informed decisions.
- Administer medications and treatments, maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families on post-acute care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
- Valid Florida Registered Nurse License and ACLS, BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Two years of nursing experience, with a strong background in hematology/oncology.
