Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Northeast Inpatient Imaging Department. This is a full-time, weekend shift position that offers a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiography (x-ray) exams on patients, ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, and perform quality assurance on radiology equipment.
  • Assist with initial and renewal application for ACR and other accreditation, and identify and report any accidents, complaints or equipment malfunction to department management.
  • Take emergency call within the department, and may be required to work weekends and float to other locations as needed.
  • May administer breath alcohol test and/or urine drug screens, and perform patient registration tasks such as verifying insurance, collecting payments, etc.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required.
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R), required.
