Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Expert to join our team. As an Interim Controller, you will play a critical role in providing financial accounting expertise to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Accounting and Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Financial Analysis and Advisory: Provide financial analysis and advisory services to clients, including financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee and manage financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Financial Systems and Processes: Design, implement, and maintain financial systems and processes, including financial reporting and accounting software.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, including SOX and GAAP.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and implement financial plans and budgets for clients.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CPA is a plus.
  • Experience: Over 7 years of experience working in financial accounting or operations at a top-tier public accounting or financial advisory firm, and/or private company.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Passionate about delivering exceptional client service. Excessively detailed oriented with an eye for quality. Experienced managing projects with tight deadlines. A self-starter with a strong work ethic.
